Company Overview

TBRDL is an incorporation that exists to promote the sport of Women’s Flat Track Derby Association in Northwestern Ontario.

TBRDL skaters and referees travel throughout Canada and the United States to compete against other cities several times a year. TBRDL is a not-for-profit organization which donates a portion of their local bout ticket sales to a local charity.  TBRDL members act as positive role models in their community. TBRDL’s Babes of Thunder are one of the many teams in the world representing Division ‘C’ of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association.

All activities of this organization, it’s policies and rules are designed with the following in mind…

  • Safety of all participants.
  • The best interests of the league as a whole.
  • The decisions are made by the skaters for the participants.
  • Inclusiveness

In 2016 TBRDL became a full WFTDA member after graduating from the WFTDA apprenticeship program which TBRDL began in 2013.

As a member of the WFTDA, TBRDL foster’s sportsmanship, supports all WFTDA members,  and is part of the world wide ranking system.
